Aliyah to the Torah with a Paytan and Musicians
An Aliyah to the Torah is one of the most moving moments in the life of a child and the whole family.
At Music Effect, we come to the synagogue with a paytan, musicians, drums and shofars, and accompany the Bar Mitzvah boy from the moment he walks in until the candies fly. The paytan sings piyyutim, “Siman Tov u’Mazal Tov” and entrance songs, the musicians build up the excitement, and the whole congregation feels it is a once-in-a-lifetime moment.
We perform in synagogues all over Israel – Rosh HaAyin, Petah Tikva, the Center, the Sharon, the Shfela and Jerusalem – and if you wish, we continue with you to the festive meal and the party with a full band and Live DJ.

What an Aliyah to the Torah with Us Looks Like
A festive welcome at the synagogue entrance with singing and drums, accompaniment while laying tefillin and taking out the Torah scroll, piyyutim and songs during the Aliyah itself, the candy throwing, and a joyful exit with singing and dancing.
Our ensembles: a paytan and a musician, a paytan with a keyboardist and a drummer, a paytan with drums and shofars, or continuing to the festive meal with a band and Live DJ.
When? On Mondays, Thursdays and Rosh Chodesh. We coordinate in advance with the gabbai and arrive half an hour to an hour early. Have a special song? Send it to us – we’ll check and get back to you.
